The moments are passing. Say yes now.
1. Confederate irony - play on the flag with layers of retro-revival; shirt knotted around the hips, chunky Docs, and the utilitarian backpack
2. Viva la femme - pink on nude brings out the bad in the good girl with knots and cut-outs; visibly brushed hair doubles the "tease" effect

3. I die for tie-dye - take bleached-out and surf's up nonchalance to the city streets; pretend the clash matches for smart disregard
5. Wrinkled and clean - freshly washed cotton and khaki in a pale palette feels rugged when cinched with awkwardly-knotted leather and unstyled locks

"...Or it was just a flagstone wall
with a flaw in the stone, an understandinG cavity
for burning young men with smooth dreams—
the true circumstance is gone, the true
circumstances about us all then
are gone. But when I kissed her, all water,
she would close her eyes, and they into somewhere
would disappear. Whether she was there
or not, I remember her, clearly, and she moves
around the room, sometimes, until I sleep..."

South-of-the-border tourist glamour calls for over-shadowed lids to protect eyes from high-noon sun, welcomed sand between the toes of fiercely stilettoed feet, glistening skin damp from blocks of buttery leather and eyelet suede, and bursts of untamed color to offset the prep to your khaki. - "Keep it Short"/British Vogue, June 2010/Constance Jablonski shot by Regan Cameron
